Editorial Team
Namira Haris
Namira Haris is an assistant editor at Storybench, where she reports on the tools, practices, and ideas shaping digital storytelling and data journalism. Her work focuses on the intersection of visual design, technology, and editorial decision-making, with a particular interest in how audiences perceive credibility and trust in data-driven stories. She is a graduate student in Media Innovation and Data Communication at Northeastern University. Outside of journalism, she enjoys cooking and gaming, and is especially interested in narrative-driven games like The Last of Us.
Anastasiia Boltkova
Anastasiia Boltkova is a graduate student in Media Innovation and Data Communication at Northeastern with a background in Advertising and Public Relations. She loves digital storytelling, data, and exploring the impact of AI on modern media. She has experience working with an Artificial Intelligence Studio as a content creator. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, wandering through the city, and she is constantly trying to improve her sleep schedule.
Jillian Brosofky
Jillian Brosofsky is a graduate student in Journalism at Northeastern. Her work has appeared in Brookline.News, The Belmont Voice and The Boston Globe. She also works for the Journalism Program at Brandeis where she writes grants and produces multimedia projects for the faculty team.
Perris Fisher
Perris Fisher is a graduate student in Northeastern's Media Innovation and Data Communication program. A former music business student at Berklee College of Music, she's drawn to how outlets around the world cover culture and the arts, and how different media surrounding the topic gets put together. These days, she loves exploring and uncovering unique stories from Boston's local scene, hoping to show people just how much creative energy the city has to offer.
Ludovica Ballou
Ludovica Ballou is a graduate student studying Journalism at Northeastern University. She has experience in social media marketing and interned at WWNO and the Gulf States Newsroom in New Orleans, LA. She has been published in The Maroon at Loyola University and Axios of New Orleans. She is passionate about audio journalism and has a podcast called “In My Shell” where she interviews entrepreneur and artists about their careers. She enjoys reading, yoga, and learning about mindfulness and spirituality.
Jackson Diianni
Jackson Diianni is a student in the Journalism Master's program at Northeastern University and a freelance writer of music/film criticism, screenplays and prose fiction.

Dan Zedek
Faculty AdvisorDan Zedek is a Professor of the Practice at the Northeastern University School of Journalism where he leads the Media Innovation Studio. The former design director of The Boston Globe, he runs a design and content strategy studio.
